Hello! For those that don't know me, I'm Angela Holbrook. I live in Utah, and am the current District 2 representative. I love and am very passionate about my woolies and getting the West more represented! I try my best to consider what's best for the members of the district that I'm in and what's best for the club overall. I, also, try to travel around to shows to get to know everyone, as time and finances permit. Please always feel free to say hello, whether you're in my district or not.
Hi, my name is Bethany, and I’ve been raising and showing Jersey Woolies for most of my life. What started as a hobby I grew up in, quickly turned into a true passion—not just for the breed itself, but for the amazing community that comes with it. I’ve always believed in promoting Jersey Woolies in a positive, welcoming way and helping others enjoy them as much as I do.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as your District 1 Representative, and I’ve truly enjoyed connecting with fellow breeders, supporting exhibitors, and helping represent our district within the NJWRC. Whether it’s answering questions, sharing ideas, or cheering each other on at shows, I truly enjoy spending time with my fellow exhibitors and promoting our wonderful breed.
I’m running for re-election because I care about our breed, our district, and the people in it. I’d love the opportunity to continue serving and working with all of you to keep promoting and growing the Jersey Wooly community. Thank you for your support
Hey everyone! I'm Bailey Ledesma, your current District 4 Director, and I'm excited to announce my candidacy for our new
rezoning for District 2. Representing District 4 has been an incredible experience, and I am eager to continue serving all the
amazing members in new areas.
During my time on the Board of Directors, I've had the privilege of working with many dedicated members who make our club
exceptional. It truly takes a village, and the commitment from everyone involved is unparalleled. I always strive to keep the best
interests of our district's members at heart, ensuring your voices are heard and valued.
I'm thrilled about the future of Jersey Woolies and the growth of our club and breed. Being part of such a wonderful district
with members who teach me so much is a blessing. I'm excited about our expanding online community and the new
educational initiatives we will soon be implementing. Learning from fellow wooly enthusiasts and sharing knowledge has been
incredibly rewarding.
Reflecting on my journey in rabbits, I remember the invaluable mentorship of the late Joy Bramhall, who prioritized youth and
breed education. Inspired by my daughter's passion for raising and showing Jersey Woolies, I returned to the hobby with a goal
to support the youth community, just as I was supported. Watching our youth gain confidence and enthusiasm to teach and
support each other has been one of the most rewarding experiences.
As hobbyists, we must invest in our youth and each other, striving to represent and improve the breed. By modeling good
sportsmanship, morals, proper show etiquette, ethics, transparency, and collaboration, we can ensure the future of the hobby
is preserved for generations to come.
My goal is to continue the legacy of those before me, helping local clubs build interest in Jersey Wooly Clubs and encouraging
participation at the national level, with a strong focus on youth representation. As a director, I aim to grow membership and
increase youth exhibitors in both open and youth categories, fostering a fun, supportive, and welcoming community.
Our amazing wooly breeders have shown us the importance of community, taking care of youth and new breeders by setting
them up for success. Together, we can preserve the community and family aspect of the hobby, making it a joyful experience for all.
If re-elected as your district director, I will continue to work with the board to promote our breed and our members' best interests, ensuring transparency and giving members a voice. I look forward to the future of our fluffy friends and hope to make
Hello Wooly Fam! My name is Jackie Milton and I would be honored to be elected the next District Director for District 2. I started in the hobby in 2005, and after getting my first Jersey Woolies in 2009, I’ve never looked back! Instead, I’ve had my hands in many different projects including starting a regional Angora Club (Southern Stars Angora Club) and bringing the National Angora Show to the South for the first time in years! I’ve played a large part in growing the youth community in West Texas for the last 20 years, thanks to my mentor, the late Dr. Bob Berry. Assembled multiple “Rabbit Schools” in West Texas to inspire youth in the rabbit hobby and increase numbers. Using the enthusiasm I have had for West Texas Youth, I would love to help increase youth involvement at the national level within the Jersey Wooly breed, by encouraging the formation of a Youth Royalty Contest. That’s where I started and it did wonders for myself as a person! Many youth families have my phone number and know they can call me any time with any questions or concerns they have. I grew up in this breed, care deeply about it, and would love to see continued growth.
Because I am not married and have no human children, I get to devote lots of time to caring for my herd, showing them regularly, close to home & in other states, and helping others within this wonderful hobby. I am an ARBA Registrar and in the works of getting my judges license as well. An avid crafter, I delight in seeing people enjoy the items that I have created. When not hanging with my bunnies, crafting, or working my “day job”, I spend time with my four-legged fur babies (Banner and Duke) and friends. Again, I would be honored to use these skills and learn new ones as the District Director for District 2.
