Open and youth sanctions will be $12 instead of $10 as of January 1, 2025.
Have you ever wondered how sweepstakes and sanctions work at American Rabbit Breeders Association shows or what those numbers on your show reports mean?
Here is a brief explanation: any local, regional or state rabbit club chartered with ARBA that is holding an ARBA Sanctioned All Breed Rabbit show may request to have NJWRC sanction Jersey Wooly rabbits at their show so that members can win sweepstakes points for their rabbits shown. The sweepstakes is an annual contest in which members can win awards based on the points won by their rabbits at sanctioned shows during the contest period.
The show secretary will send a sanction request form in along with the appropriate sanction fee prior to the show. The Sweepstakes Counter will assign a sanction number and send it back to the show secretary, along with a show results reporting form. Show secretaries must return the show report to the sweeps counter within 30 days of the show for points to be counted.
